Primary Objective Grow Online Sales & Discoverability

01 — BRAND CONTEXT & OBJECTIVES

Scaling India’s Flagship DTC Apparel Player on Google Shopping

Rare Rabbit is a premium & luxury brand offering exclusive, high-end menswear and womenswear across India. As one of the premier DTC fashion destinations in the region, driving high-intent product discoverability on Google Shopping was vital for their online growth strategy.

Partnering with AdYogi, the brand sought to fully harness Performance Max (Retail) and Free Listings by turning product title optimization into a key structural lever for campaign scale and revenue expansion.

02 — SYSTEMIC BLOCKERS

The Challenge

India's flagship DTC apparel player 'Rare Rabbit' actively running Shopping Ads via PMax (Retail) & 'Free Listings' was facing key D2C hurdles:

A

Product Discoverability Bottleneck

Lack of visibility in prominent ad positions on Google Shopping (Paid & Organic), despite a competitive 30-ad Shopping carousel environment.

B

Underutilized PMax Scaling Potential

Inability to fully harness the potential of Performance Max (PMax) campaigns to scale up aggressive revenue ambitions in the current fiscal year.

03 — STRATEGIC ARCHITECTURE

The Approach

To unlock prominent Shopping placements and maximize auction win-rates, AdYogi implemented a two-pillar strategic roadmap:

Pillar A

Know Your Category (KYC)

AdYogi worked closely with Rare Rabbit category teams to thoroughly analyze brand product USPs, distinct styles, and design attributes. This enabled clear definition and differentiation of SKUs across their diversified apparel catalogue:

Bandhgala Jackets Blazers Jeans Shirts Trousers
Pillar B

Know Your Search (KYS)

Recognizing that the majority of apparel searches are generic, AdYogi performed deep keyword research to map online consumer behavior. This revealed crucial product title gaps on feeds that operated independently of website titles (Title Myth Busting 101).

Key Gap Identified: High-intent queries for brand terms (Rare Rabbit with 201k MSV) and category generic keywords (200k+ MSV) were missing from feed product titles.

AdYogi upskilled content teams to incorporate best practices, aligning with the core Google ad auction formula where Scale on Shopping Ads = f(Keywords & Attributes).

Shopping Title Best Practice Structure
Brand + Gender + Product Type + Attributes

Attributes include: Color, Size, Material, Sleeve Type, Rise-Level, Fit, etc.

04 — OUTCOMES & FEED HYGIENE

Key Implementation Results

How targeted feed modifications transformed query coverage and auction performance.

01

6-Category Title Overhaul

Rare Rabbit modified feed titles across all 6 core categories, enabling products to surface consistently across Google Paid & Organic Shopping.

02

Prominent Search Rankings

Secured top ad positions on high-intent search queries including Brand + Product, Gender-Product, and Product-Attributes (e.g., Rare Rabbit Jeans, Regular Fit Jeans for Men, Jacquard Bandhgala).

03

Feed Consolidation Hygiene

Consolidated primary feeds from 4 down to 1, eliminating SKU cross-triggering while improving title readability according to Google content best practices.

“PMax has become our core focus of running D2C & we see great improvement in campaign scale & revenue with timely optimizations, strategic feed optimizations is one of the key. This helped us reach out to consumers in moments that matter with the right set of products & hence differentiate ourselves in a competitive Apparel market”
